A few years ago I purchased an original charcoal drawing signed by the artist known as "Dan". Attached to the back of the drawing was a clipped article from a magazine about the artist as follows, "Dan is a female American artist. A woman with a man's touch, drawing and painting with such feeling and the ability to put such expression in her work that they are referred to as "living paintings. Dan prefers to remain anonymous. Her drawings are complete works of art, with not only the drapery and material fold of fabric but the bone structure of age.Not since the age of Pieter Breughel have such characters come forth." I can't find anything on the internet about her or her other works of art and their value. If anyone has any information or connections buying/selling her work it would very much be appreciated!!!! The drawing I have is of a King with a nobleman at each side peering out a window looking out and down (assuming at his kingdom) The article that is attached is probably from the 30's or 40's because they compare her work to that of Paul Muni and his acting.

I have an antique print I'm looking for a value on - but I see a lot of posts here and no answers. How does this work? Well, I'll try it anyway. It's a print titled "Castle St. Angelo" published by Taber Prant Art Company, Springfield Mass. as stated on the back of the print. It is in good condition - some wear I can see. It looks as though it is numbered 98 out of 300 in some handwriting - but this I'm not sure of. Print is by Gaspar Van Wittel I believe, in a wooden frame w/glass. I have photos. I'm trying to establish value for a sale. Any info or offers are welcome.

Ida Bisek Prokop was the artist. They are composed of
native grasses and feathers and arranged on a water-color
airbrush painted background. Does anyone have more

I have inherited a sculpture. It is the head of a gazelle, made of metal, stands about three feet with removable antlers that make the statue about four feet tall. It is mounted on a black square base. On the side at the bottom of the neck is etched Austin Prod Inc c 1980. I was wondering if anyone kows what the value of this piece might be and anything about Austin Prod Inc.
