You don't meet Amiel. You encounter him. He engages you fully. His boundless energy engulfs you the moment his smile lights up his face and his hand grabs yours in a strong warm handshake. His unorthodox appearance may unsettle the less adventurous. For Amiel Cartwright happens to be one of the most interesting people anyone is likely to meet. He is a painter, musician, actor, and businessman with accomplishments that no other Bahamian can lay claim to since Columbus deposited European 'culture' upon his homeland.

Amiel Cartwright is a very talented natural-born artist, who learned more about the fine-arts technique by studying with an exceptionally fine art teacher named Don Russell at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Bahamas and New York City. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Cartwright has been living and working all over Western Europe for over 35 years now. Today, home is Sweden with regular visits to Florida and the Bahamas, where he is taking care of his Bahamian-European art and music production companies.
